1. Overview
This Refund Policy governs all subscription payments made to KaratX, operated by Profit Plug. By subscribing to any KaratX plan, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. This Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. Free Trial
KaratX offers a 3-day free trial for new Subscriber accounts.
- No payment is required during the trial period
- At the end of the 3-day trial, access is suspended automatically
- To continue using the Platform, the Subscriber must manually select a plan and complete payment
- No automatic charges are applied at the end of the trial period
- Trial access is offered once per business entity and is non-transferable
- Profit Plug reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time without notice
3. General Refund Policy
All subscription payments made to KaratX are strictly non-refundable.
Once a subscription payment is successfully processed, no refund will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Early cancellation of a subscription before the plan period expires
- Partial or non-use of the Platform during a subscription period
- Dissatisfaction with the Platform, any feature, or any module
- Technical issues, downtime, or service interruptions
- Change of mind after purchase
- Switching to a different plan
This policy applies to all plan types — Quarterly, Half-Yearly, and Yearly.
4. Plan Upgrades
If a Subscriber upgrades from a lower plan to a higher plan before the current plan period expires:
- The unused value of the remaining days on the current plan is calculated on a pro-rata basis
- This value is applied as a credit adjustment against the total cost of the upgraded plan
- The Subscriber pays only the difference after credit adjustment
- No cash refund is issued under any circumstance, including where the credit adjustment exceeds the upgrade cost
5. Plan Downgrades
Plan downgrades are subject to the following conditions:
- A Subscriber may request a downgrade to a lower plan only if the modules included in the higher plan have not been actively used
- If any module exclusive to the higher plan has been used, a downgrade may only be processed by the KaratX team upon completion of the current monthly billing cycle
- Subscribers cannot self-serve a downgrade if restricted modules have been activated
- To request a downgrade, contact privacy@getkaratx.in with your account details and the plan you wish to move to
- No refund or credit is issued for the difference in plan value when downgrading
6. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
In the event of a technical error resulting in a duplicate or erroneous charge:
- The Subscriber must report the issue to privacy@getkaratx.in within 7 days of the charge with transaction details and supporting evidence
- All reported cases are reviewed manually by our team
- Verified duplicate or erroneous charges will be refunded within 48 working hours of confirmation
- Refunds are processed through the original payment method via Razorpay
- Processing time after initiation depends on your bank or payment provider and is outside our control
Profit Plug is not liable for delays in refund processing caused by Razorpay, your bank, or your payment provider.
7. Subscription Lapse and Non-Renewal
- If a subscription is not renewed upon expiry, access to the Platform is suspended
- No refund is applicable for unused days in cases where a Subscriber chooses not to renew
- Data is retained in accordance with the retention policy in our Privacy Policy
8. Dispute Resolution
If you believe a charge has been made in error, contact us at:

We aim to respond to all billing disputes within 3 working days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, India.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered Subscriber accounts. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
